Not only paintings can be showcased this way. Dried parts of plants, feathers and letters are totally hip right now and go perfectly well with today’s botanical interior design trend, putting your plants at centre stage.

books, absorbent paper (e.g. blotting paper), Dancing Pixies, double glass picture frames in various sizes, tweezers, knife, wire

Cut some flowers and flower spikes and place on absorbent paper in a book. Cover with paper, close book carefully and weigh down with books. Replace the paper after a few days to prevent the flowers from turning brown and mould from forming.
Step 2 Step 2

After approximately one week, carefully remove the pressed flowers from the paper using knife and tweezers and place them on the cleaned sheet of glass from the picture frame. You may want to use a thin wire to arrange the flowers on the sheet of glass. Carefully place the second sheet of glass on top and push both sheets into the frame. Eucalyptus and baby's breath are suitable best buddies for other floating frames you may want to make.
